Project "ACTIMI Signals"
The goal of this development project is the evaluation of vital data with the help of artificial intelligence.
It is being researched to what extent artificial intelligence can achieve or even improve the diagnostic accuracy in the treatment of chronic diseases such as heart failure. This project aims to optimize medical care and at the same time relieve the healthcare system.
The economic opportunities for the applicant range from selling the AI module as an app to other telemonitoring providers to distributing the comprehensive monitoring solution to practices and hospitals.

Collaborative project "TESTER"
TESTER Project: AI based privacy assistant
Devices for digital self-measurement are being used by more and more people. They are used, for example, in the fitness and leisure sector, but also increasingly in medical contexts. However, for the users of such devices, it is often not sufficiently clear which data is collected for what purpose and where and how this data is processed and shared. Although users have extensive rights regarding their self-measurement data, in practice there are challenges of lack of transparency and often a high effort to enforce rights to one's own data.
The goal of TESTER is the development of a Privacy Assistant that creates transparency and intervenability regarding self-utilization data.
Actimi is the development partner here. The component will become part of the Actimi platform.

Collaborative project "EmpAItica"
Empathic AI for Depression Treatment by Innovative Conversational Agent
EmpAItica is an AI-based conversational agent that has been specially developed for the detection of depression and the support of those affected. The aim of the funding project is to certify the module in accordance with MDR IIa. This would be the first LLM-based conversational agent in Europe that can be used in a medical environment. Using a multimodal approach - based on speech, facial expressions and gestures - the chatbot can analyze emotional states in real time and respond sensitively to the user's needs. The aim is to build a bridge to professional help for those affected while they wait for a place in therapy.
