The BioRegio STERN has been one of the major and successful bio-regions in Germany for years. Members include over 400 companies, universities, and other organizations from the life science sector in Baden-Württemberg.

Since 2001, BioRegio STERN has been supporting companies and projects in various stages of development, including facilitating 1.2 billion euros of investments and 120 million euros of federal funding.
